Video: Man drives into wall
An alleged drunk driver drove into a wall on Friday night injuring himself and the house owners son.
The man, whose name cannot be published, as no formal charges were laid against him, was driving from a function in Sandero Street and did not see the T-Junction in Cowen Ntuli Street.
“I was sitting in my study when I heard a hard sound, I ran out and I was met with chaos, ” said Garry Baldwin, owner of the house.

His son, Matthew, was going to the cottage flat when the car drove into the wall, luckily the speeding car was stopped by a big tree in the yard.
Matthew, who recently had an operation, foot was injured when he try to escape the out of control vehicle. He was admitted to hospital on Friday night.
In total Mr Baldwin counts losses of more than R30 000, three cars, the wall, house windows and his motorcycle.
The Hilux driver was admitted to hospital.
The police opened a case of reckless and negligent driving against the driver.
