Impressive fire drill at Hospital

Commotion occurred at the Life Midmed Hospital when an evacuation drill siren shocked staff.

In the true fashion of an emergency, the fire drill was followed to the tee by staff members.

The traffic department and the fire department were called to the scene.

Employees assembled at the Witkerk and in less than 30 minutes everything was back to normal.

I have been working as a journalist/photographer since 2018 at the Middelburg Observer. Before joining Caxton I was a Journalism Student at the Tshwane University of Technology. I was also a broadcasting intern at the SABC in Pretoria. In my first year as a journalist I was awarded the Upcoming Journalist of the Year at the O H Frewin awards.
