VIDEO: Beer on the N4, looters raid cargo
After a truck carrying a shipment of beer overturned on the N4 on Monday morning, looters crawled out of nowhere at an alarming rate.
What could have been spared from the lost and damaged load, was shamelessly carried away within minutes.
Even a motorist stopped to swipe up what was within arms reach from their vehicle door.
The truck driver had lost control of his vehicle and veered down the embankment on the side of the highway, leaving the lorry on its side.

Massyn Vervoer told www.mobeserver.co.za, that the truck was on its way to Nelspruit when the accident occurred.
The company suffered a loss at the cost of a grizzly R2 million.
Ms Massyn confirmed that the truck’s cab may still be repaired, but that the trailer was written off.
The driver, luckily escaped alive.
