WANTED: Two kidnappers at large – Police plead for information

Two suspects are wanted in connection with the abduction of a teenage girl and the SAPS are urging those who may have information to come forward.

In a media statement issued by the South African Police Service, it was made known that a 17-year-old girl was kidnapped on the 7th of October.

The girl’s family reported her disappearance after she allegedly went to fetch her younger sister but failed to return to her home in Mhluzi.

A missing person inquiry was opened followed by a thorough search which resulted in the girl’s discovery on the 9th of October.

The girl was kidnapped by two suspects who held her captive for two days until her rescue.
She was found in Extention 8, Mhluzi.

•Anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects may contact Detective Constable John Phoku on 072 216 7505 or call the SAPS Crime Stop number on 08600 10111.
