Tanks dispatched to ease water cuts
Once again, the taps in Middelburg have run dry after another pipe burst.
It’s an ongoing complaint among residents as the rupture of pipes has become an every-day thing.
The municipality, however, is quick to respond with repair work and try their best to keep residents updated on the progress.
This time around, the areas affected by supply interuptions are mainly in the Middelburg Extentions 7, 11, 24 and Nasaret.
The reason for the water interruptions is due to a pipe that burst on the supply line leading to the Nasaret Reservoir Site.
Water tankers have been dispatched in the meantime and affected households may visit the following water collection points:
Nasaret:
Middelburg Combined School and the Nasaret Library.
Middelburg Ext. 24:
Phumlela Secondary School and Khuli Nilwazi School.
