Protesters have banded together in the court halls since yesterday, following a march led by the Executive Mayors of Steve Tshwete and eMalahleni, in a bid to stand against the killing of people with albinism, for traditional medicines.

Thokozani Msibi, Themba Thobela, Brilliant Mkhize, and Knowledge Mhlanga allegedly kidnapped and killed Gabisile Shabani.

The political march resulted in partial closure of Walter Sisulu Street, when marchers were led from the municipal buildings to the court.
DR Beyers Naude Drive is still experiencing disturbances in traffic, as the hearing continues.

The case has been separated, following the admittance of guilt by Themba Thobela, who will be reappearing today.

The remaining three accused, are expected to appear in court on 25 May 2020.
