Ninth burn victim remains unidentified
The family of the ninth victim that was killed in an accident on July 12 has still not conducted DNA samples or identified her.
The woman, along with eight ALS Mine employees, was killed when the taxi she was travelling in collided with a truck.
The fatal crash claimed nine lives and burnt the victims beyond recognition.

Middelburg Police spokesperson Capt. Khanyisile Zwane said the police, together with the Department of International Relations, are in the process of contacting Ludes Mario Mazive’s family, who live in Mozambique, to conduct DNA samples.

In the meantime, the eight families of the ALS Mine employees have received the DNA results from the SAPS Victim Identification Centre and the bodies will be surrendered to the families today, (Tuesday). – Read “DNA results for Mpumalanga’s eight N11 crash victims finalised”
