Update: Social worker declares Klarinet mother unfit to make sound decisions

During the sentence hearing of Zinhle Maditla, the social worker was called upon to testify.

In her pre-sentencing report, the social worker, Ruth Msiza, told the court that Maditla was unable to make sound decisions because of her poor educational background.

Maditla dropped out of high school in grade nine to take care of her children.

Ms Msiza also recommended that the court sentence her to life imprisonment.
