Strange markers in John Magagula Street intrigues motorists

Several motorists reported a peculiar collection of random objects standing in a row along John Magagula Street.

One motorist that makes use of the road every day, stated that the meticulously placed row of cups, bottles and cigarette boxes are present every morning like clockwork.

Upon further investigation, it came to light that the beggars that inhabit the street use the system as tokens for their daily donation of food rations.

Paulina Maphutla and Elizabeth Motsweni explain how they each have a token, which they present to a local shop owner that gives them food each day.
