Keeping busy in lockdown

Speaking to three residents, these Middelburgers tell us how they have been spending their time in lockdown.

DA Parlementslid me. Annerie Weber:
Me.

DA parlementslid me.

Hospice suster me. Judy Toua:
Me.

Former Mayor, Mr Mike Masina:
“The hail storm has left me with enough gardening work for some time,” Mr Masina chuckled. Apart from gardening, he thoroughly enjoys spending time with his family.

“As politician and mayor I had to spread myself very thinly, now I have been afforded time to spend with my family and I really appreciate this opportunity,” Mr Masina says.

Apart from his own personal spiritual time, Mr Masina says he prays three times daily with his family, for their health and that of all South Africans.

“We pray at 08:00, again at lunch and at 15:00 every day,” he said. “I constantly listen to the radio, apart from spending quality time with my family, they make everything better and I love them!”.
