According to media spokesperson for the Steve Tshwete Local Municipality, Ms Prudence Magutle, the municipality will be in communication on the opening of certain departments at a later stage.

Spluma applications and clearance certificates, as well as the licencing department are scheduled to be operational as of 1 June, however, the opening of departments with a high staff count is still in it’s planning phase.

STLM once again asks residents to remain patient as more information on the phasing of lockdown will be made available as soon as possible.
