Body found in Loskop remains unidentified
The police continue to investigate the murder of an unidentified victim, whose body was discovered by a shaken civilian, near the Loskop dam wall.
When discovered, the body was in such a severe state of decomposition, that very little identifiable traits were available to go by.
The victim, which is suspected to be that of a male due to the length, was found tied, with a gunshot wound to the head, and wearing a Transnet jacket.
Later, information was received that the body had been bound with cable ties, and that he was wearing brown trousers, a navy blue Transnet jacket, and black combat-styled ankle boots.
Currently, the body has not yet been identified.
