Four truck accidents reported within an hour

Four accidents involving heavy motor vehicles have been reported within an hour this morning, and motorists are warned of traffic delays.

Mr Louwtjie Swart from Van Wettens Towing Services shared traffic alerts in the following areas surrounding Middelburg:

• Two trucks have been involved in collisions on the R555 a short distance from Stoffberg en route to Steelpoort.

The accident just off N4 Belfast.

• One truck lost control on the R33 just off of the N4 Belfast.

• An overturned truck, with the driver entrapped in the wreckage was reported at the N4/Van Dyksdrift crossing.

Apart from the entrapment, no fatalities or serious injuries have been reported. Motorists are advised to approach the areas with caution and expect potential delays.
