Gas bottle thief targets a family in Vaalbank on New Year’s Day
While the rest of the country welcomed the new year, a lone criminal stole from a Vaalbank family.
The incident reportedly occurred shortly after midnight, on January 1.
The daring thief targeted the plot in Vaalbank, located near the Cool Ideas Truck Stop.
The suspect took four gas bottles. One orange, 48kg bottle. Two green, 48kg bottles and one more green, 19kg bottle.

The stolen gas bottles were positioned outside the house, with one near the bathroom and the remaining three, in the staff quarters.
They also stole diesel on December 15.
The homeowners are urging residents to help find the suspect/s by contacting them at 066 245 5049.
