Kees Taljaard is spick and span

Clean-up crews made light work of the mess left behind by soccer spectators.

The Kees Taljaard Sports Stadium, which played host to last night’s AFCON semi-final live airing, is once again in ship-shape condition after municipal clean-up crews visited the area.

Disgruntled residents who expressed their outrage at the sea of waste they walked into this morning will be glad to know that the sports facilities are as good as new.

The Middelburg Rugby Club informed the Middelburg Observer that a clean-up crew consisting of 20 people tackled the mess from 08:00 this morning.

These crews are also just as quick to clean up around the Klein Olifants River on Monday mornings.

Residents have their sport facilities back in ship-shape condition.
