Tractor and X-Trail collide on Samora Machel Street

There were no injuries, with the X-Trail sustaining the brunt of the damage. The tractor was turning right onto Samora Machel from Hoog Street, with the X-Trail travelling straight on Samora Machel from the direction of the Middelburg Mall.

The collision took place in the middle of the four-way stop, with traffic at a standstill, as the large tractor is obstructing the view of oncoming traffic.

At the time of publication, no traffic officer was at the scene to control the flow of traffic.

One lane from the direction of the mall has been closed, but the road is still open. Caution is advised to those travelling in that direction.
