Autumn Night Race at Kees Taljaard tonight

The Autumn Night Race presented by Midack Athletics Club and CVO Middelburg, is set to take place at Kees Taljaard Stadium tonight.

The race begins tonight at 18:00, but entries start at 16:30. Entry fees are set at R50 for the 4.9km fun run and R100 for the 10km, a temporary license will cost R40.

A medal will be given to all finishers, with prizes of up to R2 500 available for first-place finishers.

Tobie van den Bergh

Tobie started as a journalist in September 1975. He was appointed editor of the Middelburg Observer in 1982 where he worked until he retired in 2024. He received numerous awards, is a founding member of the Forum for Community Newspapers and has published two books about his work. Although retired, Tobie is still very much involved in community journalism.
