WARNING: Vehicles slip on oil spill on Van Dyksdrift road

A large oil spill on the Van Dyksdrift road is causing havoc on traffic.

Traffic Alert warned motorists of the oil spill, reporting that a vehicle has already lost control and left the road as well as several trucks slipping on the incline.

The spill is located between Keiskamma Drive and the N4 off-ramp.

Louwtjie Swart from Traffic Alert has requested assistance from the traffic department and fire brigade.

Motorists are advised to make use of alternative routes.
