Two people died in another crash this morning on the N4.

Two people died and 13 were seriously injured in an accident on the N4 this morning at about 04:50.

The accident happened about two kilometres from the Middelburg Dam.

A taxi lost control and rolled down the embankment. Two people died instantly.

The forensic department of the police is still on scene.

The accident follows just a few hours after an accident on the N4 outside Belfast at Berg-en-Dal Monument where five people died on the scene and three were seriously injured. A few hours later a sixth person succumbed to his injuries.
