R15 000 reward for information on Stofkraal farm murder

A R15 000 reward is being offered for information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of the criminals behind the murder of an elderly farmer.

According to former colonel Sakkie Louwrens, the reward is being offered by Bosveld Misdaad Ondersoeke, and only on the grounds that the information could lead to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for the murder of Mr Robert Stoltz on the Stofkraal Farm on the Hartelus road.

Mr Stoltz was brutally murdered in the early evening of April 30, and his air rifle (pellet gun) and blue Chery were stolen.

According to CCTV footage, the attackers were seen fleeing in the blue Chery at 18:45 that evening.

The car was found next to the road outside Steelpoort, after the attackers lost control and crashed. They had fled by the time of the discovery.

Anyone with information that could assist in the investigation is asked to please call Sakkie on 071 798 7954 or Johan on 082 896 5331.
