Missing person: Family searches for Taunyane Ramotete from Vandyksdrift

The family of Taunyane Ramotete, is appealing to the Middelburg community for urgent assistance, after he went missing from the Vandyksdrift area. Police have confirmed that a missing person case has been opened, but no leads have been received so far.

Taunyane Ramotete went missing earlier this month.

According to a family member Portia Mthunzi, Taunyane was last seen on December 12, in the Vandyksdrift, Lindokuhle area. He was reportedly at a tavern at the time of his disappearance.

Unfortunately, the family is unable to confirm what clothing he was wearing when last seen.

“We have opened a case with the police, but at this stage there are no tips or information,” Portia said.

The family has since launched an urgent appeal to the public, asking anyone who may have seen Taunyane or who has any information, no matter how small – to come forward.
