Family appeals for help to find missing Mhluzi man
A search is underway for Sboniso Biyela, who disappeared in December after failing to return home from work.
The family of Sboniso Biyela (33) said they are growing increasingly worried with each passing day since learning of his disappearance on December 17 last year.
According to his aunt, Nomsa Msomi, Biyela left his home in Plein Street, Mhluzi, to go to work. He reportedly knocked off as usual but never returned home.
At the time of his disappearance, Biyela was employed as a security guard and was last seen wearing his work uniform.
Family members attempted to call him, but his cellphone has been switched off since the day he went missing.
A missing person’s case was opened at the Mhluzi Police Station shortly after his disappearance.
The family expressed dissatisfaction with how the case is being handled by the police. The Middelburg Observer contacted the police for an update; however, no response was received at the time of publication.
The family is appealing to anyone with information to contact Nomsa Msomi on 083 949 1174.
