Excitement as Grade One’s start at Middelburg Primary School

Middelburg Primary School welcomed its Grade One learners of 2026 on Tuesday morning as excited pupils took their first steps into formal schooling.

Middelburg Primary School officially welcomed its Grade One learners this morning, as the school gates opened to eager young pupils beginning their formal school careers.

By 07:30, the school grounds were filled with excitement as learners arrived in uniform, many experiencing their first day of ‘big school’. Teachers and staff ensured a calm and supportive start, helping learners settle into classrooms and new routines.

Parents and guardians proudly looked on as children took this important first step, marking the start of a journey that will shape their academic and personal development.

Middelburg Primary School focuses on nurturing happy, confident and well-balanced learners through quality and holistic education. The school aims to equip learners with strong values and the confidence needed to face future challenges and contribute positively to society.
