The Belfast police are appealing to members of the public for assistance in reuniting Speelman Nhlanhla Maredi (39) with his family after he went missing earlier this month.
Maredi, who resides on Leeuwfontein Farm near Wonderfontein, was last seen on January 7 at a hiking spot in the Wonderfontein area while reportedly travelling in the direction of Carolina.
According to information from the provincial police, he left home without informing his family of his whereabouts.
At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a white T-shirt and Adidas sneakers. His family has since conducted extensive searches at places he is known to frequent, but without success.
Concern for his safety is growing, and both police and family members are urging anyone who may have information that could help locate him to come forward.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Belfast SAPS on 013 248 0355 or Detective Constable Amos Mahlangu on 082 548 5647. Information may also be shared via the MySAPS App, and callers may remain anonymous.
