The search for 15-year-old Angel Unathi Masuku, who went missing on January 13, has come to an end after she was found last Friday.

Angel disappeared after leaving her home in Doornkop at around 15:00 to go and braid her hair, but she never returned home.

Her grandmother, Miriam Masuku, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who assisted in the search, which ultimately led to Angel being found alive.

While relieved by her safe return, Miriam noted that Angel was not in a good condition when she was found. The family will now focus on ensuring that she receives the necessary care and support to aid her full recovery.

The Doornkop community has also rallied around the family, offering continued support during this difficult time.
