The Steve Tshwete Local Municipality issued a public notice at today (February 22), confirming that Middelburg’s vending system is currently offline due to urgent maintenance.

All electricity vending points are affected, including garage sites, online platforms and Prepaid24   .

Residents will not be able to purchase prepaid electricity until the system is restored.

No estimated time of recovery has been provided.
