WATCH: Water pipe erupts, warnings of possible interruptions issued

A water pipe has burst behind the Sydney Choma Banquet Gall, close to Middelburg Care Village.

DA councillor Elsie Vermooten posted a video of the spouting geyser which has not been fixed to by the municipality yet.

The pipe burst early this morning and have been reported ad nauseum by residents.

Vermooten has warned that large parts of the town will be affected.

She urged residents to use water sparingly.
