Mhluzi agent sets her sights on Mrs Mpumalanga

The 29-year-old said she steps onto the pageant stage to expand her social impact across the province.

A local real estate agent, Maria Mankge-Nkosi, is onto the pageant runway after securing a spot as an official finalist for Mrs Mpumalanga 2026.

The 29-year-old mother and wife has built a career guiding families through major life milestones, but her dedication extends well beyond housing markets.

Deeply involved in church work and local charity initiatives, Maria focuses her energy on uplifting others and helping residents realise their potential.

Her journey to the stage began after community members noticed her community involvement and encouraged her to apply in April.

“I was encouraged by people who saw something in me that I hadn’t fully recognised in myself,” Maria said, noting that reflection and prayer convinced her to embrace the platform to inspire broader change.

As one of 15 finalists representing the Steve Tshwete Local Municipality, Maria is now actively working with local businesses to power her provincial upliftment projects.

The final crowning ceremony will take place on November 14 in Mbombela.
