VIDEO: New hall for Combined School

Every pupil at Middelburg Combined School has a reason to celebrate as Mr Crause Mabudafhasi, Executive Director of Vuna Mining, officially handed over the newly developed school hall.

Everything was beautiful in blue at the new hall.

The school hall is named after the current Head Master, Mr Willie Jansen, who is celebrated by many as a true leader.

“I feel very honoured and privileged,” said Mr Jansen. In his speech he thanked Vuna Mining Enterprises, everyone who attended, Builders Warehouse and Mashinini Construction.

The Mayor, Mike Masina, stressed the importance of giving in the month of July, especially in education, as it is the future of our communities. He also thanked Vuna Mining for their various projects at other schools too.

He further pleaded to the community and pupils to protect the building.

“Our social labour plan is to work hand in hand with the government, make a difference and leave a lasting legacy,” said Mr Mabudafhasi.

There were performances from pupils from primary to secondary level.
