“As we reflect on our 2016 short term plan to qualify and grab medals at Interprovincial championships, it has been achieved. Our medium term goal was to qualify for the South African championships, and this has also been achieved. The long term plan is to scoop medals at the SA Champs and through athletes determination we broke the previous record of having 25 athletes in MP team into 31, and we are hoping for medals. Our cross country journey was simple because of TURBO SORG who paid all our leagues entries and travelling,” said Emmanuel Mabaso, Chairperson of the Nkangala Athletic Club.

“On the development side our school athletes have qualified for Mpumalanga School Cross Country Championships to be held in Breyten on 3 September 2016. We are on the right track.”
