Montgomery Group security expo brings security solutions to Midrand

New technological innovations brought together Midrand residents and businesses looking for new safety and security solutions.

The Montgomery Group hosted their annual exhibition at Gallagher Convention Centre.

The exhibition, from June 2 to 4, aimed at providing the latest innovations to address issues in security, fire safety, health, and safety.

People in industries such as mining and construction also attended, looking to gain knowledge on how to better their businesses.

One of the attendees, and safety officer, Pretty Mkwane talked about her experience at the exhibition.

“I wanted to learn more about the new personal protection equipment that is in the market, and what new opportunities are now in construction.

“I’m actually getting more than expected. It’s like I’m in school here, because the information is a lot and I enjoyed the practical side of the exhibition.”

Given the high rate in property related crimes and commercial crimes, this exhibition served as another solution to help the community, and businesses, combat these crimes and protect themselves.

Another aspect of the exhibition was the availability of companies that detect gas.

The number of households and businesses using gas in Midrand are growing significantly, especially now that the winter season is approaching. These companies assist in the detection of gas leaks, important in safety.
