Ivory Park police spokesperson Warrant Officer Neldah Sekgobela said police received information about a body of a man lying in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds to his upper body.
Police went to the scene and found the deceased, next to it were two cartridges.
Sekgobela added, “It is alleged that the deceased received a call at 2am on 29 April, left his wife in the house he was later found dead. Police were tipped off at the scene of the crime about a vehicle the suspects who shot the man were driving.”
That evening the two suspects were arrested and police found another cartridge in the suspects’ vehicle. The suspects will soon appear in the Tembisa Magistrates’ Court for murder.
