Midrand police communications officer Constable Matome Tlamela confirmed that one of the suspects was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle. She said, “The other two men, who were questioned along with the suspect, were not arrested as police could not link them to the suspect who was arrested.”
The man who was arrested was driving the stolen vehicle along Richard’s Drive near Gallagher Estate, while the other two men were driving behind him in another vehicle. Police stopped both vehicles after suspecting that the men were together.
The suspect will soon appear at the Midrand Magistrates’ Court charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.
