Apart from drawing mom a heartfelt picture, one also did a turn around the schoolyard and shopped for the finest French perfume and bought the most luxurious body lotions for sale.
The best part is mom was always on hand to lend their child some change.
The Mother’s Day market on 8 May had lots of fun for moms to enjoy. “We had a guest speaker come and talk to our mom’s about the joys of motherhood. We also had two craft tables set out for our moms to make whatever they would like,” said teacher Bonita Visagie.
“[There was maple products, French perfume and a local jewellery stall] that also joined us for the day to spoil our mom’s with goodies to buy,” she said.
