Midrand police call meeting to address students’ safety

MIDRAND - MIDRAND police would like to extend an invitation to Midrand Graduate Institute students and their landlords to attend a crime presentation meeting where safety tips will also be discussed.

Midrand police commander Colonel Steven Moodley said, “The initiative is to come up with a plan to address the crime that students are faced with in Midrand.”

Moodley added that this was a proactive crime prevention activity, and the idea would be to prevent crimes perpetrated against students and address crime issues that affect them.
