“One of our policeman who was on patrol in the area went to the scene and arrested the woman at around 3pm on 5 June,” said Constable Matome Tlamela, head of communications at Midrand Police Station.

When the officer arrived at the scene, he found that the woman had been detained with the green ID book in her possession.

“She was immediately arrested and investigations are still ongoing,” said Tlamela.
