“Teachers and educators inspire and motivate learners on a daily basis,” said Tanya Jackman, director of the event.
“At African EduWeek we give teachers the opportunity to be inspired and gain new knowledge with free-to-attend educational training and development.”
The workshop promises to cover a range of topics from sex education, to school finance to e-learning, and the challenge of teaching mathematics in schools.
Some of the speakers will be Adam Habib, who is vice chancellor at Wits University; Thokozani Mathebula, lecturer at the university; Laurel Becker, a senior lecturer at the University of Pretoria; and Mark Cunnington, CEO of Midrand Graduate Institute.
Attendees are encouraged to visit the workshop’s website and fill out a visitor’s form.
