City Power is urging community members to make adequate preparations for the upcoming planned power outages scheduled for 16 October and 23 October.
On 16 October, the affected areas will be Grand Central Airport and New Road in Midrand and on 23 October, the affected areas will be 16th, 15th and 2nd Road in Randjiespark, and Old Pretoria Road, K101, New Road and Superior Road in Midrand.

On both days power will be cut off from 9am to 5pm.
City Power said the power interruptions were necessary for the maintenance of its networks.
The maintenance also forms part of the utility’s programme to constantly provide better services.

The supply may be restored at any time after 5pm and City Power is warning community members to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times.
