Former estate agent Vicki Momberg’s application for leave to appeal sentence and conviction has been denied.

The application for leave to appeal of convicted and sentenced racist, Vicki Momberg was postponed earlier this month after the defence asked the court for a postponement to allow them to finish preparing the paperwork for the appeal application.
Momberg was appealing her two-year jail sentence and conviction after she had been found guilty on four counts of crimen injuria.
Momberg was caught on video last year uttering racist remarks to a black police officer at the scene where she had claimed to have been a smash-and-grab victim.
In June, the Equality Court found that her utterances constituted hate speech and ordered her to pay R100 000 in damages to the police officer who she called the k-word.
