Police have warned parents to be vigilant after several cases of bag-snatching were reported at a local primary school.
Four males between the ages of 20 and 25 years have been seen walking along the street near the school’s parking lot between 6am and 7am.
Several parents’ handbags have been stolen during the brazen attacks.
Constable Ngwako Matlhatlha from the Midrand Police Station has urged parents to be careful when dropping off their children. “Please parents do not take the law into your own hands, rather call the police when such an incident happens.”
