Express!ons school celebrates mothers

MIDRAND – Express!ons Junior School hosted a special baking and bonding event for their mothers.

The Express!ons Junior Preparatory School hosted a special day of bonding for children and their mothers ahead of Mother’s Day.

Co-founder of the school Carla De Gouveia said that the excited little ones got together with the mothers on 10 May to bake and have fun in the playground. “We were hoping that over cooking and eating something together, that there would be many special moments shared between our moms and their children and we were not disappointed. Everyone had a very special morning.”

Principal at the school Saloshni Narandas said, “Moms are usually super busy and we don’t always have the time to do something special, just with our child.

“We decided that celebrating Mother’s Day was the perfect platform to create such an occasion. By baking and cooking together a very nurturing and nourishing morning was had by all.”
