Midrand residents who are over 60-years-old share their vaccination experience

MIDRAND – Community members 60 years old and above took to the Midrand Fire Station on 7 June to get their Covid-19 vaccinations.

Johannesburg Region A Health Department kick-started vaccinations in Midrand on 7 June at the Midrand Fire Station.

The Midrand Reporter asked some of the first people to be vaccinated how it went. This was what they had to say…

STUART SCHWABE: It was fine, no problem at all. I definitely recommend people come and get their vaccinations done.

BARRY FITZPATRICK: I think the people are very efficient and it is all going well. Everyone must do it. Yeah, let’s just do it and get this thing over with.
RENEKA SINGH: It was very professionally handled, I must congratulate the team here, they have gone beyond their line of duty to make us feel at ease. The vaccination was really well done.
RAJ SINGH: I was vaccinated very well, professionally done. Even the speech they gave us was absolutely phenomenal. I recommend that people get down here, get vaccinated and protect themselves and others.
