Tribal trapper’s track gets all the love

MIDRAND – Lindokuhle Msomi aka Intaba Yase Dubai shares his thoughts on the success of his recently dropped track which draws anticipation for his soon-to-be-released album.

Midrand’s very own tribal trapper Lindokuhle Msomi, better known as Intaba YaseDubai, recently shared his thoughts on his latest track, Ngiyamthanda.

The hit love song recently reached more than 100 000 000 views on YouTube – just a week after its release.

Msomi believes the track spoke to people who are in love with someone, but the family of the person they love does not approve of the relationship. “This came after I realised that there were a lot of people in relationships who would end up not getting married just because the people they love are not approved by their family members.”

He added that the song was composed to accommodate people facing that as a challenge and to encourage them not to stop because of it. “I say in this song, even if your family or the family of the person you’re in love with do not approve of your relationship, find a way,”

Msomi’s single is also an anticipation builder to his soon-to-be-released album, however, he is quite anxious about the future.

“I did not expect such love for the song. It has put me under pressure. I am still surprised as to what is going to happen along the way,” he added.

Msomi concluded that his album has been completed and would drop soon, however, a date has not been announced yet.
