Reddam House Waterfall contributes to a good cause

WATERFALL – Reddam House Waterfall raised R9 800 for Cupcakes of Hope to help sick children across South Africa.


A local school has raised R9 800 for Cupcakes of Hope.

Reddam House Waterfall’s outreach committee registered with Cupcakes of Hope in the third term and have since raised R9 800 for the organisation.

The school’s head of the preparatory, Quinton Pascoe, said an educator in charge of the outreach committee and also a registered Cupcake Angel was largely responsible for getting this initiative in motion.

“Cupcakes of Hope does an incredible job of raising funds to help children who have been diagnosed with cancer by selling cupcakes for a donation of between R10 to R20 – the proceeds make a real difference in the lives of these children.

Pascoe added, “The Reddam House Waterfall outreach committee had a hugely successful fundraiser. All cupcakes were generously donated by the Grade 6 families for the fundraiser.”

He added that the fundraising team received more than 800 cupcakes on the day of the donation drive and they were sold out by first break.

“The outreach committee managed to raise a whopping R9 800 from the sale of these cupcakes. All proceeds were donated to Cupcakes of Hope to help the many children who have been diagnosed with cancer,” he concluded.
