More patrollers and security companies join operation to maintain the safety of Midrand

The patrolled areas of Midrand have remained quiet, with no incidents reported during the operation.

Another successful high-visibility operation was conducted in Midrand Sector 2 on August 4 by Midrand’s law enforcement teams.

The operation included Midrand police, Sector 2 Crime Forum patrollers, and patrollers from security companies such as FADT, ARN, Hawkeye, Matro Swat, Ria Sebetsa, and TRSS.

The operation was conducted between 19:00 and 22:00 with coverage that spanned from Bluehills, Olifansfontein Road to Waterfall View, and areas in between.

During the patrol, members of the operation were joined by additional patrollers and security companies. This was a great force multiplier and it is mainly through these combined efforts from all local role players that the operation is able to improve crime management in the area.

Overall, the patrolled portions of Midrand have been quiet with no incident alerts during the operation.

Constable Eliot Mabulane, spokesperson for the Midrand police, encourages residents to continue participating in these operations because it is yielding positive results.
