Local model walks away with double sash at Miss Waterfall South Africa pageant

Local model Caroline Mangane turned heads and inspired judges as she secured two major titles, second princess and Face of Miss Waterfall South Africa, at the Miss Waterfall South Africa 2025 pageant.

Local model Caroline Mangane has made her community proud after being crowned second princess at the Miss Waterfall South Africa 2025 pageant, while also walking away with the prestigious Face of Miss Waterfall South Africa 2025 title.

The pageant finale was held at the Victory Theatre on November 30, following preliminary interviews conducted on November 29 at the Sun1 Hotel in Johannesburg, where contestants were accommodated ahead of the main event.

Miss Waterfall South Africa is a leadership-focused pageant that aims to empower young women and men by creating a platform for advocacy, community upliftment, and positive social change, while celebrating beauty, poise, and purpose.

Reflecting on her achievement, Mangane said the recognition marked a significant personal milestone. “Winning Miss Waterfall South Africa second princess means so much to me. It represents confidence, growth, and validation of the hard work I’ve invested in myself.”

While official responsibilities linked to the title are yet to be announced, Mangane said her personal mission is firmly rooted in community development and giving back.

She believes the accolade will open new doors in her career, allowing her to expand her influence and leadership platform. “This title creates opportunities to network, represent my community, and strengthen my credibility as someone committed to making a meaningful impact.”

Mangane expressed heartfelt gratitude to those who supported her throughout her journey, particularly her colleagues and her employer, Thando Khumalo, founder of Black Barbie By TK, for sponsorship and mentorship. “Your belief in me gave me courage. To my family, thank you for the love that grounded me and the strength that lifted me. To my social media family, your messages, prayers, and cheers reminded me that I was never alone.”
