Van Rensburg, on October 15, said visiting the home was an experience she will cherish forever. “It was a profound honour to meet the founder, who generously shared the inspiring history and legacy she and her late sister had established over the years. During our gathering in the assembly hall, we engaged in heartfelt discussions with the children about their future career ambitions. It was incredible to see their enthusiasm and aspirations, as we talked about the various ways they can carve out successful paths in life. The children also stole the show with a delightful talent showcase, where they presented original dances and songs that showcased their creativity and passion,” said Van Rensburg.
She spoke to management about upcoming initiatives, specifically focusing on the completion of classrooms for the children.

Recently, the children’s home manager, Kaira Hopkins, was asking for help to complete the rebuild of two classrooms.
“This discussion left me feeling optimistic about the future of The Storks Of Hope Project, which aims to provide these children with the educational resources and support they need to thrive. The visit reinforced my belief in the power of community and the difference we can make in the lives of the young ones,” added the beauty queen.
