Midrand Police Station Commander Molefi David Tsotsotso described Tukula (49) as a diligent and hardworking member.

She was expected to celebrate her 50th birthday on October 10. Tsotsotso said Tukula resided in Sky City, and often traveled using public transport to and from work.

Tsotsotso extends his deepest sympathies to the family of Tukula, as well as those victim support social workers and volunteers that knew her.

“I am extremely disheartened by the sad news, which came as a shock to me and all the members at the station. Mrs Tukula was very hardworking, kind, and friendly. She successfully converted Midrand VEC into a home away from home for victim support clients in need of social help.
