Nova Pioneer’s young innovators clinch medals at Eskom Expo

Nova Pioneer Midrand celebrates its future scientists after a stellar performance at the Eskom Expo.

Nova Pioneer Midrand Primary celebrated a proud moment after six of its young learners clinched medals at the annual Eskom Expo Johannesburg Regional Science Fair, held in early August at Wits University.

The competition, which celebrates creativity, problem-solving, and scientific innovation among school learners, attracted some of the brightest young minds from across South Africa and beyond.

Nova Pioneer’s budding scientists impressed judges with their original, impactful projects, a reflection of both their curiosity and the school’s forward-thinking academic culture.

Thokozani Mhlanga, school leader at Nova Pioneer Midrand Primary, said the school is incredibly proud of the learners for the passion and dedication they displayed throughout this journey.

“Their success at the Eskom Expo is not only a victory for them but also an inspiration for the entire Nova Pioneer community.”

The learners’ accomplishments highlight Nova Pioneer’s commitment to nurturing a love for science, technology, and innovation from an early age.
