Summerhill School SA’s boys’ tennis team excels against Amberfield School in league fixture

Each player stepped onto the court with confidence and determination, ready to showcase their abilities, which they did taking five singles and three doubles victories .

The senior preparatory boys’ tennis team from Summerhill School SA achieved a remarkable victory in all their league fixtures against Amberfield School on October 10.

The boys demonstrated exceptional skills, not only during the singles matches but also in the doubles encounters. Their outstanding performance was matched by their exemplary sportsmanship and a strong sense of team camaraderie.

In the singles matches, each of the players excelled, with Kearabecwe Ramatong, Eli Young, Omphile Manyosa, Agisanang Mangope, and Aneshan Govender all securing impressive victories, winning their respective matches with a commendable score of 3–0.

This clean sweep in singles indicates the hard work and preparation that went into this competition.

The doubles matches were equally thrilling. Kearabecwe and Eli joined forces, and their chemistry led them to a convincing 4–1 victory. Meanwhile, Omphile and Agisanang formed a formidable partnership, dominating their match to achieve a stellar 5–0 win, showcasing their teamwork and synergy on the court.

Adding to the team’s successes, Aneshan partnered with Kuziva Mangwanya to deliver yet another outstanding performance, contributing another 5–0 victory. These victories not only highlight the individual talents of the players but also reflect the collective strength of the team.
